Social share buttons as your digital flyers

Back in the day, giving out flyers is a must in advertising. Paper flyers make sure that your business will be known to other people. Think of the share buttons as your modern flyers. The more people share your content, the more it will be seen across different platforms. Mind you, it’s big and fast that it can lead to exponential growth. The only difference is that your visitors will do the sharing (you don’t need to spend on hiring employees); yay for free marketing! It will also expand your brand awareness.

One example of an effective social sharing strategy: AddThis, a popular social media bookmarking and sharing service, conducted a case study last 2018. Since integrating social media sharing buttons, a nationwide nonprofit saw a 400% growth in overall views and a 2.5 percent rise in new customers.

As they say, sharing is caring, and that’s precisely how marketing in social media works. Some say that sharing is the new currency of social media. Who doesn’t love some traffic on your website, right? Mainly it will also favor our lovable friend - SEO! Share buttons expand the referral traffic to your website.
