My name is Hannah Notrice. I’m 22 years old, born and raised in New York! I’ve been in school for the past four years, graduating in May with a BA in Digital Media + Journalism from the University of Hartford.

After working with over 30 different clients for the past year and a half learning the ins and outs of how social media can benefit a business, I decided to scale my services, and Hunnysuckle Social was born!
I offer a variety of social media services to my clients; I refer to myself as the “one-stop social media shop”. My most popular services are Profile revamps and setups, creating social media strategies for new businesses, and monthly social media management. I offer all services a la carte, including content creation, copywriting, management, strategy, mentorship, and more. Every business is different, meaning every business may need a different aspect of social media help, and I’m here to provide it!
WHO I FOLLOW ON SOCIAL MEDIA
My business is centered around authenticity and empowerment; I value creators and businesses who stay authentic not only for themselves but for their audience. Aside from my business, I’m passionate about feminism, environmentalism, and social progress, which make up a lot of the people I follow on social media.

THE HARDEST LESSON
The hardest lesson I’ve learned is that things aren’t always easy. It should go without saying, but it’s easy to fall victim to imposter syndrome and beat yourself up when you don’t always see the success you’re looking for. Building a business is hard work and it takes a lot of ups and downs to get to a place you’d like to be.
THE BIGGEST WIN
My biggest win is always seeing my clients happy. Every time a client sees growth, positive change, or a piece of content they’re excited about, it reinforces why I decided to pursue this career in the first place.
AN ADVICE TO OTHERS
Don’t wait for the perfect moment. There is never going to be a perfect moment to get your business going or to start looking for your first clients; I had always thought I had to wait until I graduated school to start my business, but I now know that the perfect time to take the leap is the present moment!
For social media marketers looking to get into the field, my biggest tip is to start up your own platforms and grow them for yourself. Practice creating content for yourself, test out different strategies, etc - By doing this, you’re building your own skills and social proof for future clients.
Don’t overwork yourself! Life is about living - While building a business is hard work, it shouldn’t be your entire life. Don’t forget to live while building your business - It’s easy to experience burnout very quickly.
Some tips and tricks I have for social media are
Create shareable content
Observe what other creators in your niche are sharing and tailor your content to keep up with current trends and conversation
Stay on brand
Keep your content centered around four or five categories that are relevant to your business and your audience. Your audience follows you for a reason; Give them what they’re looking for!
Don’t give up
Social media growth takes time - It very rarely happens overnight. Follower count makes a business look good, but content engagement is what really matters. 100 active followers are more valuable than 1000 inactive followers.

When deciding to scale my business, creating a website was absolutely essential. Being a new business without the budget for a web designer, a website template was exactly what I was looking for.
